☆Things to Eat at Universal Studios Hollywood☆

Since Harry Potter World is opening very soon in California, I figured that many people will be making trips to Universal Studios! ⭐️ Therefore, I decided to make a blog post on foods that I absolutely love around the park! 🍴💕

I couldn’t really find any posts online about must-eat foods in Universal Studios before I my last trip there, which was really disappointing because I really wanted to know what would be good to try. 😔

Hopefully this post will help you out when figuring out what to eat or drink as you walk around or get super hungry! 😋

Drink: Freeze Ray Smoothie

Location: Despicable Delights

Price: $5.29

I think this was my favorite treat my friend and I bought that day. The flavor was so surprising! I didn’t think that mangos and bananas would go well together, but it totally does! It’s such a refreshing drink for SoCal weather. I truly recommend this if you want something to just drink while walking around or waiting in line for rides! What was also really awesome is that the straws change color when you drink! 🍌

Location: Moe’s Tavern

Price: $9

Prior to my last Universal trip, The Flaming Moe was what I heard to be one of the more popular drinks at Universal Studios Hollywood. However, I thought that it was a bit pricey for the size and taste. It’s a non-alcoholic drink and tastes like a slightly enhanced orange soda. The only thing really special about this drink is the dry ice effect that happens right when you get it, which looked pretty cool. You should still try it if it was something you were really looking forward to, but you can definitely get something better for cheaper. 🍊

IMG_1878Food: Minion Meatball Sandwich

Location: Gru’s Lab Café

Price: $9.59

This sandwich was tasty! I love meatball sandwiches, so I was absolutely delighted to try this! It was quite good but could’ve had more cheese. It came with a side of salad, which was also good. There was also extra marinara sauce (which I highly approved of). If you want a bigger meal during the day, I recommend you try this!

IMG_1873Food: Turkey Leg

Location: Plaza Grill

Price: about $10

I just love love love turkey legs! Nothing beats Disneyland’s turkey legs, but this one is pretty darn good as well! It’s great for sharing and really hits the spot if you want something to eat (or even just snack on). Turkey legs never really fail me when I’m at a theme park.🍗

IMG_1871Food: The Big Pink

Location: Lard Lad Donuts

Price: $4.99

Worth every penny. It was super delicious and smelled fantastic. I love donuts, so I definitely flipped when I saw that for only $5, you can get a giant one! It has pink frosting, which you may think is strawberry flavor, but don’t be fooled because it’s like vanilla, which is still also really good. The dough is perfect and tastes amazing. This donut is great for sharing (if you want to share) and is just incredibly fun to eat and take pictures of! 🍩

IMG_1321Food: Dippin’ Dots

Location: All over the park!

Price: $4-$5 depending on the size you get

Dippin’ dots are always great for dessert, especially at theme parks! They’re easy and fun to eat and just taste really good! I constantly find myself getting the banana split flavored one, but I know that the other flavors are also great! My friend got the cotton candy one, which was also really good! I noticed that there were two kinds of Dippin’ Dots selling: one in the packs which came with spoons and the open ones where they scoop your flavor in. I recommend getting the ones in the packs just because I felt it to be more convenient and less messy. 🍨

IMG_1885Food: The Funnel Cake Supreme

Location: Plaza Grill

Price: about $7

Ending (or starting) your day with funnel cake is always the best. After a long day at the park, eating funnel cake before going home just made me even more happy! It was warm, crunchy, and soft all at the same time. You can never go wrong with funnel cake. The strawberry sauce with chunks of strawberries was also not overpowering at all and just made the funnel cake taste better. 🍓

I hope you have tons of fun if you are planning to visit Universal Studios Hollywood! Food is definitely something you should keep in mind when visiting because there are so many things to try! 🍔🍕 🍝 🍟🍦
